I have been adding more and more leather to my hooked bags. The leather is either recycled or a remnant piece. The black leather is from a pair of biker pants I found in a thrift store in Montreal. The red and butterscotch are remnant pieces. The bags are lined in canvas with my bird screen printed on the pocket and in the case of the butterscotch bag, letter-pressed on the bottom.

Welcome to blogland! So glad you are here….and I can now follow along in your creative journey from afar 😀
LOVE (love, love love!) the new red bag….and the black one is it new, too ? They all look great and I can’t wait to see them up close and personal when I come to visit….

Hi there,
Jenn just sent me the link to your blog and as soon as the page opened, I fell in love.
The bags are spectacular! I have a new little group of students here in Parry Sound and they are all doing a front for my Jeanius Bags. Ironically, someone asked yesterday if they could use a leather pant leg and I said that would be incredible. And yours are. I love your straps too, which look like you may have made them as well.
Welcome to the blogging world. If you are ok with it, I’ll put a link to yours on mine. And I will come back soon to visit.

Thank you both so much for visiting and commenting. Of course, Wendie, I would love to be on your site–and in return I will list you on mine, and Jennifer too! This is a new world for me–and so lovely to be greeted by rug hookers I admire.
The bags are hooked, but also have lots of felted sweater patches too as well as the leather. I love combining all the textures and colours.
