I’ve had a couple of requests for coated cotton pouches for travel. I spent an afternoon this week using up some remnants to make a few small makeup bags, big enough for a tooth brush and other travel essentials, but compact enough to fit in your tote. And to give a boost of colour!
From the left two striped coated cotton from Chartres, one with a lime zipper one with a cobalt one. Then two magenta flying birds with cobalt and fuchsia zippers and then I could not resist two more wonky birds. The wonky birds are lined with water-resistant orange waxed canvas. The remaining are lined with crisp blue and white striped canvas. A few of these will be in the shop very soon.

I’ve been following your blog for a little while (love your creativity!) and I see in some of the other comments that you have an online shop. However, I cannot see any links to the shop, not even a navigation button. All I see on birdbraindesigns.ca are your blog posts and comments, nothing else, such as “about the blogger” How can I access your online shop?

The Online Store Button is under Navigation on the right hand side of the main page. This will take you to the shop. Or you can access it by tapping the photo under Available in the Store. We are making these buttons larger so they are easier to see.
Sometimes I post a bag on the blog which is a special order and is not in the shop. But if you see anything you like, please write to me by using the Contact Button under Navigation.
