I’m now carrying the idea of colour blocks to some hooked trivets. This is the first in a series using the same colours as the pouches above. A great way to use left-over strips and ‘sketch’ ideas for a bigger piece. I’ve drawn up a few more and will post as I complete them.
Love this idea and the first mat is a fine example. Can’t wait to see some more. Such a simple graphic way to strut your colours.
Thanks, as always Wendie, for your comments. I’m enjoying these little mats. They are a great way to work out ideas for the next big project. I’m thinking another birthday rug…since the last one took so long, I’ll soon have another big birthday to merit a rug!!!!
