pouches

July 3, 2013 by Birdbrain 2 Comments

I have been making some pouches, assorted sizes and colours. I find them very useful, and at any one time have three or four in my tote.  I even use one on its own for a wallet when I want to travel light. Here are the first three of the new batch. Once again, the linings are as important as the outsides of the pouches. Details of size, price etc. in the on-line shop by tomorrow morning–just press the button on the right.pouches 1

Thank you for your comments, Amos, all the way from Kenya! But I do have time to think about other things besides the pouches. I am already making plans to come back to Matangwe and teach rug hooking. Rug hookers in Canada are donating more burlap and hooks and I hope that we will be able to make small rugs with designs of the local birds and flowers.

Keep collecting t-shirts and cast-off clothes that we will be able to use. And keep hooking! I would love pictures of some of the finished work.

    Christine
