What an outstanding day, made all the more by the reports of snow storms to the east! I spent the morning screen printing, listening to Michael Enright and the CBC 75th Anniversary special. So many memories. This afternoon I couldn’t resist the sunshine. When I came back inside I was inspired to make the pouch below. I gathered all my brightest scraps and sewed them together–the red skirt, the green jacket and the final pieces of the glorious Wendie cobalt. It makes me smile!
What a great job. It looks like you had a very productive day. The coloured pouches are really nice. I also really like the red purses that you made!
Thanks for your positivity Deb! I’m going to make a second remnant pouch with what is left of Cindy’s leather pants. Hope you can make it to the show!
ps using your hoop yet? send me a photo of the finished work!
Glad to hear that you had a great day too. Thanks for the motivation on the weekend; I’ve got my machines running beautifully again and the finished products are starting to pile up. Looking forward to our shows next month.

All those bright colours sure do cheer a person up – if they need it. Love the multi-colour pouches – primaries always go together so well, don’t they? I am so sorry I didn’t manage to get to the studio while you were there. My trip to TO on the 27th was a drop and dash back up. I was hoping for more time. But I have been following and know it was a huge success!! Kudos.
Great to hear from you Wendie. And thanks for the comments. You know I appreciate your support.
And I guess I didn’t make it very clear–but that is one pouch–I just pictured each side–so it is real colour therapy!! I hope to make more–it was good medicine.
Happy Hallowe’en all.
I am enjoying using my hoop, almost finished my trivet, 🙂 I will send you a picture when it is done. Still hoping to make it to the show.
Now that would be wonderful. Mo will be at the show too! She is feeling so much better these days. Great news about your hooking!
