This morning I started two new bags. The cognac one on the right is a backpack order and will look much like this one, but a little larger. This is the advantage of ordering a bag–you can customize size, leather and most other details. I keep thinking I should have a button under navigation explaining that you can order and how to go about ordering but it is still on the list to do. Essentially you contact me and we discuss. The bag on the left is made of beautiful emerald leather. I am thinking of a new style for this one–cross body with a gathered top and flap closure. Back zipper as you can see.

This is as close as I get to production. Two bags at a time. I have a couple of days clear, so if all goes well both should be done by the end of the week. I hope you will check back to see.

I thought I would do a post on the best bags of 2015 which can be ordered. I am still intending to revise the leather gallery so that you can see what is available in what leathers and sizes and the price. But for today, all of the bags below can be ordered in the leather pictured. You can always put the name of the bag in the search box at the top right of this page to see all the posts which feature any bag here. Each of these bags is out in the world now, but I have enough of the leather to make another. If there is another colour or size you would like, you can always ask and I’ll see what I can do. As you know, I am a one-person operation and each of the bags is made with great care and love from start to finish by me. The only way they can be purchased these days is through this blog. I am filling orders, making my own Christmas presents and generally keeping busy. Here is the second 1510 backpack ready for the mail. It is modelled on the first one, but with an added carry strap on the back. It is lined in moss waxed canvas, has three inside pockets and a zipper pocket on the outside. Antique brass hardware including a key clip inside. It is 13″ wide and 12″tall with a 4″ base.
